Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to facilitate the setting and achievement of client goals. It encompasses working closely with clients to identify their current and future support requirements in order to make progress with their goals and aspirations and enable a good life.It applies to individuals who use specialised knowledge and apply well developed communication skills and strategies to complex and sensitive situations. They work independently and collaboratively in teams and make considered decisions using organisational guidelines and tools.Work functions in the occupational areas where this unit may be used are subject to regulatory requirements. Refer to the FNS Implementation Guide Companion Volume or the relevant regulator for specific guidance on requirements. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. Assessment must be conducted in a safe environment where evidence gathered demonstrates consistent performance of typical activities experienced in the personal injury management field of work and include access to: office equipment, technology, software and consumables organisational tools, records, policies and procedures. Assessors of this unit must satisfy the requirements for assessors in applicable vocational education and training legislation, frameworks and/or standards. |
